The newlyweds joined Hotel Walther in June 2022. Their connection to the mountains and the Engadine, as well as the manageable size of the traditional family business, were the deciding factors. As partners, they complement each other in the various areas. Gianfranco Giovanoli is in charge of Food & Beverage, IT and a part of HR, Bettina Giovanoli is responsible for the Human Resources, Rooms area and Marketing.
 

After working as a restaurant manager on the Orient Express, on a Swiss billionaire's mega yacht in Monte Carlo and 5 years on the shores of Lake Garda, Alessio Falcomer arrived at Hotel Walther a year ago. His passion is food and wine. A reliable and altruistic personality, he dislikes excuses.

Our organisational talent grew up in a hospitality business in Germany and everything that didn't find a place in the cradle, she made up for during her training as a hotel manageress. She came to us with the intention of staying for a winter season. Her love of the Engadine and a colleague who became more than she was at some point must be responsible for the fact that she has moved to the valley for more than five years since then.

The housekeeper combines forces. More than 25 of them, from Portugal, Romania, Spain, Italy and Switzerland, all working together for two things: shine and order between table, bed and laundry. At the same time, the spirited governess never forgets what is especially close to her heart: Our guests and their crew, for whom she always comes up with little treats.
