Management Team

Nico Senn, Vice Director & HR Manager

Nico Senn had professionally checked-in in Vienna, Shanghai and Zurich before opening the doors of the Hotel Walther and taking over as Vice Director & HR Manager. What you have to be able to do? Everything. But above all you have to be a dedicated host. No problem for the chef, F&B manager and hotel owner who makes everything possible for our guests, even if it seems impossible at first.

Caroline Friedli, Manager's Assistant

After successful years of travel she chose Hotel Walther. Her valuable support backs up the Directorate daily, and what once mesmerized the born fighter from Schaffhausen, won’t let her go anymore until today: The whole variety of a hotel and its guests - to whom she always lends an open ear.

Gody Zeller, Chef de Bar

The bar counter is his. Hardly anyone knows the brands of the evening more and speaks their secret language as "Gody" does. Sparkling? Deep red? Ice cold? The smart Evergreen is known for legendary aperitifs since 1980 and for always satisfying his guests taste. He himself loves landing in the south and on bike trails for physical balance, or the slopes of Diavolezza and Lagalb.

Peter Maxlmoser, Chef

Peter Maxlmoser started his career as a sous chef in the Hotel Walther, followed by 8 years as a chef de cuisine at the Steinbockherd. Now he has returned to the Walther kitchen armed with inspiration, ability and dedication. The native Bavarian reinterprets his dishes, from near and far, to create modern miracles without losing traditional notes.

Claudia Fallini, Executive Housekeeper

The housekeeper bundles forces. There more than 25 from Portugal, Romania, Spain, Italy and Switzerland are there for together for two things: Shine and tidiness between tables, beds and linen. Within this, the vivacious governess never forgets what’s her close to your heart: Our guests and her crew, for whom she always thinks about of small tokens.

Sabine Crameri, Chef de Réception

Not just check-in and check-out. No! Sabine Crameri follows every step of her guests – from the first to the very last minute. This is due to her organizational skills, her good memory and her passion for an individual, perfect hospitality service. The native German is also very active after hours. Namely, when she embarks to her Maiensäss in Puschlav and makes herself the guest.

Dino Martelli, Maitre d’Hôtel

Anyone taking a seat in the Grand Restaurant is in his care. With his staff all clad in white, he has specialized in reading guests wishes and he tops this talent with much fascination and knowledge about wines and delicacies. It’s no wonder. The maitre d 'hotel has been personifying our tradition for indulgence for 40 years. On a daily basis, he brings his passion from the wine rich Valtellina up to Pontresina to the table.

Diego della Vedova, Chef de Service

Born in Valtellina – at home all over the world. His colourful CV covers everything from adventurous safaris to running a pizzeria in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The experienced catering professional has been rooted in Engadine for years. In his free time, you can often find him on the ski slopes or practicing another one of his hobbies: horse riding. Diego della Vedova once again joined our restaurant team in June 2019.
