Deep Health Engadin
Therapies & treatments
During the Deep Health Weeks in November, we invite you to experience a sense of being supported and nurtured. This is particularly easy to achieve in water, for example through floating, WATSU, or Ai Chi. Or on land with Qi Gong. Our experienced therapist, Ursina Peter, will be there to support you, helping you find space for depth, lightness and new inspiration. In doing so, health becomes a quiet, lasting experience that continues to impact you long after your stay.
Visitors and locals are just as welcome to book an appointment as our hotel guests.

WATSU®
In WaterShiatsu (WATSU®), you are literally carried on hands, allowing you to let go of the world around you and fully arrive within yourself. The mindful touches in the gently lapping warm water allow you to gradually withdraw your external awareness and turn your attention inward. WaterShiatsu supports body-based mindfulness, regulates the nervous system, and promotes a state of deep relaxation that opens space for introspection and inner peace. The experience of feeling safe and supported strengthens trust—in your own body and in your surroundings. The 35°C warm water serves as a central therapeutic resource here: warmth relaxes the muscles, buoyancy relieves pressure on the spine and joints, while water resistance exerts gentle stretching and massaging impulses on fascia and tissue. Breathing and movement fall into a calm, synchronised rhythm, allowing energy to flow freely again and supporting the body’s self-healing powers. From a Deep Health perspective, this creates resonance as a harmonious interaction between bodily sensations, inner experience, and the external environment—an experience that promotes balance, self-awareness and vitality.

Floating
Floating for two is a special experience that deepens your connection as a couple. In the warm water, you experience shared closeness, weightlessness and deep relaxation as you mindfully perceive and support one another. Through gentle touches, movements and stretches, a shared rhythm emerges that fosters trust and allows you to be fully present in the moment and with one another. In the spirit of Deep Health, this experience becomes clearly perceptible as a resonance between the two of you: a living, non-verbal connection that strengthens both your relationship and your well-being. Ai chi
Ai Chi is a form of active relaxation in warm water in which you perform calm, flowing movements—inspired by Taiji and Qi Gong—on your own and consciously connect them with your breathing. The slow, continuous movement helps relax the muscles, mobilises the joints, and promotes balance and coordination. The combination of movement and breath creates a steady rhythm that directs attention inward and fosters a state of calm presence. As a method, Ai Chi functions as a body-based mindfulness practice that supports the regulation of the nervous system and gradually reduces states of tension. The warm water enhances this effect: it facilitates movement, relieves the body, and enables a nuanced awareness of posture, breathing and inner sensations. In this way, self-awareness and self-regulation are specifically cultivated—central resources for sustainable health prevention. From a Deep Health perspective, this creates resonance as a subtle attunement between movement, breathing and inner experience in contact with the water. Body and mind not only find peace but enter into a harmonious interplay that makes vitality, balance and a deepened body awareness tangible.

5-Element Qi Gong
The 5-Element Qi Gong consists of five simple, mindfully performed movements associated with the elements of water, wood, fire, earth and metal. Through the combination of movement, breathing and concentration, life energy (Qi) is harmonised, and the interaction between physical functions and inner experience becomes tangible. Through regular practice, you achieve harmony, strengthen organ function and calm the mind. This practice acts as a targeted, gentle form of self-regulation: the slow movement sequences sharpen body awareness, stabilise the nervous system, and support the balance between activation and relaxation. From a Deep Health perspective, this creates resonance as a harmonious triad between movement, breathing and inner awareness, which not only facilitates relaxation but also fosters a nuanced sense of one’s own needs. In the group, you will learn the individual movements and gradually combine them into a flowing sequence that deepens concentration and inner calm.
