The cosy Jägerstube!
The Colani Stübli is the more cosy of the Walther’s culinary gems. Located just a few metres from the Belle Epoque house, in the Arvenstube of the Hotel Steinbock – also owned by the family – the menu features modern creations and rich Engadine traditions as well as specialities from the Graubünden region and the southern valleys, with international dishes available too of course. By the way, the restaurant is named after the legendary Engadine hunter Gian Marchet Colani, who allegedly culled sixteen chamois in a single day. Tall tales? Maybe. What is absolutely true, however, is the excellent game prepared according to traditional recipes, to be savoured accompanied by some “death haloo” music during the autumn season.
